Attack threatens to shatter Trump's fragile ceasefire deal

The exchange threatened to shatter Donald Trump's 20-point peace plan days after the US President warned he would disarm Hamas “violently” if they did not stop attacks.

An Israeli military official said Hamas had carried out multiple attacks against their forces beyond the yellow line - which marks areas under Israeli military control.
They described it as a “bold violation of the ceasefire”, adding: “The attacks included an RPG shot at a military force, and sniper fire against a military force.”
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had said Israel “will retaliate forcefully” to the Hamas attack.
