2K SPIDERS IN HOME? THAT'S CREEPY

MORE than 2,000 spiders can be in our homes at any one time, an expert has said.

Zoologist Luis Villazon said while pest control companies might often give a figure of 40 in an average house, there is little research supporting this figure.

He added: “A 2016 study of 50 houses in North Carolina, US, found cobweb spiders in 65% of all rooms sampled, but this was looking at biodiversity and didn’t count the number of individual spiders.
