THE Prince and Princess of Wales were in for a pinny, in for a pound as they tried to out-bake each other on tour.
William and Kate laughed and joked while they made potato and apple cakes in Craigavon, Northern Ireland.
They were visiting Long Meadow Cider in Co Armagh, which has been owned by the McKeever family for three generations, cultivating premium apples since 1968.
The royals toured organisations which offer creative and entrepreneurial opportunities for young people in rural areas.
Their first stop of the day was the new €60million Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service Learning and Development College, outside Cookstown in Co Tyrone.
Kate, 43, joked that she wanted to travel at top speed with the sirens blazing as she and Wills, also 43, were given a ride in a fire engine at a sedate pace.
