Rovanpera on track to make it to top
THE ‘Max Verstappen of the World Rally Championship’ has declared his ambition to one day take on the Formula 1 legend.
Double World Rally champion Kalle Rovanpera has announced a shock career switch as he chases a future at the peak of single-seater motorsport.
The Finnish racer, 25, has taken part in 75 rallies, winning 17 and taking back-to-back titles in 2022 and 2023.
As the youngest ever WRC champion, race winner and podium finisher, Rovanpera has been described as the Verstappen of rallying.
