DWTS bosses asked singer on 3 times

SCHEDULE Tolu Makay on RTE series

TOLU Makay was asked to take part in Dancing With The Stars three times before she accepted.

The singer decided it was third time lucky and 2026 was her time to dazzle in the ballroom so she said yes.

Tolu is still performing and touring despite her hectic dance rehearsal timetable.

She told RSVP: “I was like, it’s fine, it'll probably be grand and then I saw how rigorous it is.

“I'm like, okay we need to be healthy, we need to eat, we need to sleep.
