KARL BURKE reckons William Hill Lincoln favourite Thunder Run is “a Group horse in the making” ahead of his return to action at Doncaster on Saturday - and punters agree.

The four-year-old, who joined stablemate Native Warrior and Qirat at the head of the sponsor's Lincoln betting yesterday - the Leeds firm price the trio at 7-1 - proved his suitability for a big-field handicap at York's Ebor Festival last August.

And Burke said last night: “He's a lovely horse and I think he's a Group horse in the making.
