Itoje a big fan of clubmate Owen's talents

- FROM ADAM HATHAWAY in Canberra

MARO ITOJE insists Owen Farrell could still do a job for England and admits he was stunned by the reaction to the fly-half’s Lions call-up.

Farrell, who landed down under on Friday, was the target of boo boys when he was in the stands at Saturday's clash with the Waratahs in Sydney.

Hilariously, prop Will Stuart joined in the catcalls, but skipper Itoje did not see the funny side of criticism of his arrival in Australia led by former Lions like Dan Biggar.

Farrell trained yesterday then did extra fitness after a session with the other kickers at the stadium where the Lions play the Brumbies today.
