Pair 'in close contact' as Kathleen tries to mend relationship
SCISSOR Sister mum Kathleen Mulhall returned to Ireland to visit her killer daughter after several years apart, we can reveal.
The Irish Mirror has learned that Kathleen, who lives in the UK, paid a visit to Charlotte Mulhall in Limerick Prison last month.
Sources say the pair have kept regular contact over the past year via video call as the mum seeks to repair her relationship with her daughters.
But the in-person visit comes after years of the pair not seeing one another and also comes as sources say Charlotte is moving ever closer to full freedom from prison, after serving over 15 years for the murder of Kathleen's then-boyfriend Farah Swaleh Noor in 2005.
A source said: "Charlotte has been getting regular days out lately and has been keeping of good behaviour in Limerick.
"She's served a long time in there now and so she's being given more chances to prove herself and ultimately get more time out of prison in the near future."
Kathleen's visit with Charlotte marks an unusual departure from their distant relationship over the past number of years - with her residing in London and the pair only speaking over the phone.
