MIDFIELD ace Evan McLaughlin and teenage star Matthew Murray were the goal heroes for Cork City in their Premier Division victory over Waterford at Turner's Cross last night.
The breakthrough arrived two minutes into added time at the end of the first half of this Munster derby when the ex-Derry City and Coleraine man volleyed home Murray's cross.
Prior to McLaughlin's gem, Cork had first-half 'goals' from Murray and Seani Maguire disallowed for offside.
The assurance second goal came on 54 minutes when Murray intercepted a back pass to shoot home from the edge of the box.
