POWER HAS SAINTS ON A EURO CHARGE

SIMON Power says St Patrick's Athletic's Dublin derby at Bohemians tonight (7.45pm) is a 'massive opportunity' for the Super Saints to gatecrash the European party.

Power's stunning strike proved the only goal of the game against his former side Shamrock Rovers in Inchicore on Friday to keep the Hoops' title celebrations on hold and boost Stephen Kenny's side's continental hopes.

St Pat's go into the Premier Division encounter at Dalymount in sixth, a point behind Bohs with three games remaining for both in the league this season.

Fourth place will be enough to play in Europe in 2026 if Rovers beat relegated Cork City in the FAI Cup final - but Pat's are determined to look after their own business.

"We knew going in tonight we just needed to get the three points because it's in our hands now," said Power of the 1-0 victory over Rovers.
