Forest keeper Sels insists under-fire Ange can turn things around... but says players must take share of blame

- BY SARAH CLAPSON

MATZ SELS has handed a vote of confidence to Nottingham Forest head coach Ange Postecoglou.

The under-pressure boss is still seeking his first win after seven games since taking charge at the City Ground.

Even before Sunday's 2-0 defeat at Newcastle (players dejected, right), he had endured the worst start of any permanent Forest manager a century.

It was an improved performance by the visitors at St James' Park as a pragmatic approach to the game resulted in them looking more defensively organised.

But it counted for little in the end as they still left empty-handed and sit one point above the Premier League relegation zone.

Scrutiny remains on Postecoglou but Sels is convinced the Aussie can turn the situation around.
