Concert was 'greatest day in metal'

- BY MARK JEFFERIES Showbiz Editor and JAMES DESBOROUGH

OZZY KNEW IT WAS HIS LAST-EVER GIG

OZZY Osbourne knew that his Villa Park show was his final farewell in public, says the person who help organise the epic concert.

Close friend and musical director of the Back To The Beginning gig, Tom Morello, says he feels the Brummie rocker was aware his days were numbered.

The show was less than three weeks before the rock icon died, aged 76.

Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave guitarist Tom said: "Ozzy Osbourne had lived on the edge for such a long time, the fact he lived as long as he did was a miracle.
