MICHAEL NOONAN prevented a terrible night for Irish football getting even worse by scoring the winner in Tallaght.
Introduced as a second half sub on 65 minutes, Noonan (above) stepped off the bench and into the minds of every Irish supporter searching for a glimmer of hope.
And they have some in this guy. He only recently turned 17. Here in Tallaght he turned a match on its head.
Until his arrival, Andorra were on course for a famous result.
