My husband ogles other women and I'm close to leaving

Dear Coleen I've been married for 28 years and been with my husband for nearly 37 years, ever since we were teenagers. But my problem has bothered me so much over the years. I love him dearly and he's supported me through tough times. I've never had to worry about money and have always been grateful. We have a wonderful family and social life, and get on so well but he's always had this thing about looking at other women, which he does in an obvious way.

I've joked about it over the years but, the truth is, I hate it. On a recent holiday, we were sitting in a bar and he was eyeing up a lady near us, and she was doing the same to him when her partner left to get a drink! Sometimes I question myself and wonder if I'm overreacting. Other times, I've lost patience and told him how I feel and he kind of apologises but soon does it again.

I feel he's being so disrespectful, especially when I'm with him, but I've given up going over it with him and I'm genuinely considering walking away from our marriage.
