Hollywood star on new Ruth Jones show

MINNIE Driver begged costar Ruth Jones for comedy tips on the set of their new drama series.

She teams up with Gavin & Stacey creator Ruth for Run Away, from thriller writer Harlan Coben.

And the Hollywood star admitted she was starstruck to be working with the woman who, along with James Corden, created one of her favourite shows.

Minnie, 55, said: "I don't think there is anything that makes me laugh more than Gavin & Stacey.

"Every single character is beautifully drawn, beautifully conceived and beautifully acted. For me, it's perfect writing.

"It lives in its own bubble. I don't know if they will ever do anything again like that but to have created that sort of masterpiece, they are total geniuses."
