MARINE NATIONALE became the latest big name to be ruled out of the Cheltenham Festival yesterday.

Last year's Queen Mother Champion Chase winner has a neck injury and will not recover in time for Wednesday's feature race.

The nine-year-old claimed the two-mile crown with a brilliant 18-length victory 12 months ago (left) — his second Festival success, having landed the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle in 2023.
