DAVINA McCall says it was a relief to be called annoying by her family after her brain tumour operation as it meant she was recovering.

The 57-year-old television presenter has revealed how the ordeal affected her life and family relationships.

After surgery to remove the benign tumour, Davina spent time in intensive care before recovering at home, helped by partner Michael Douglas, 51.

She recalled his reaction to her short-term memory problems and the relief she felt about their relationship being back to normal.
