Reality TV star Sam Faiers horrified the nation's dermatologists earlier this month after revealing on social media she doesn't wear sunscreen - or put it on her young children.

The 34-year-old's admission was deemed "deeply irresponsible" by experts, and it kicked off a much-needed debate about SPF. TOWIE star Sam is not alone in shunning this very important product - she's one of 32% of adults who never wear it.

But doing so leaves her skin (and that of her children) open to no end of sun damage, causing premature ageing, sunburn and even skin cancer.

How dangerous is it for children to go without sunscreen?
