But the newly uncovered emails are something darker.

They appear to be written proof that Prince Andrew liedrepeatedly, deliberately - about his ties to Jeffrey Epstein.

I interviewed Andrew on his 50th birthday. He was reflective then, proud of his courageous service in the Falklands.

But this scandal lingered.
