Turnaround in form is no surprise for Arne.. he always believed in himself

HE'S found his happy place again.

But Arne Engels knows he can't allow that to become a comfort zone as he looks to take his game - and Celtic - to another level.

The Belgian's absence from the starting XI for all but five games under Brendan Rodgers in the first three months of the campaign had punters scratching their heads as Celtic struggled for a creative spark.

A year on from becoming the club's record signing at £11m, this was supposed to be the season Engels kicked on and proved his worth.

But he's had to be patient. And resilient. Since Rodgers' departure the 22-year-old has gone from being a bit part to a lead role. He's started five of Wilfried Nancy's six games in charge and, before that, seven of Martin O'Neill's eight as caretaker.

Against Livingston on Saturday he looked to be right back in his groove beside Callum McGregor in the engine room.
