GAVIN HAS GER'S VOTE AS PRESIDENT
Irish Daily Mirror
|September 12, 2025
GER BRENNAN believes that his former Dublin boss Jim Gavin would be a "great fit" as President of Ireland.
-
On Tuesday, Gavin (right) won the Fianna Fáil nomination to contest next month's election and enters what is, for now, a three-horse race with Catherine Connolly (Independent) and Heather Humphreys (Fine Gael).
New Dublin manager Brennan was centre-back on Gavin's first All-Ireland winning team in 2013 and cites his predecessor's "ability to lead and share his vision and to bring people together".
