GARDAI CONFIDENT OF FINDING THUG WHO LEFT MAN 'CRITICALLY INJURED'

GARDAI are confident they will track down the thug who left an English tourist in a critical condition in an incident in Dublin's Temple Bar.

The UK citizen, who was visiting Ireland on holiday, is believed to have got into an altercation with an Irish man who he doesn’t know near the Centra in Temple Bar Square in the early hours of yesterday.

Now it has emerged the attacker brutally kicked the tourist, who is in his 40s, in the face and chest - knocking him to the ground.
