Funds plea for man hurt in Oz crash

A FAMILY has launched a fundraiser to support a man who suffering life-changing injuries in a road crash in Australia.
Ben Denning Galligan, from Crosserlough and Virginia, Co Cavan, was involved in a crash in a remote area of Western Australia on October 14.
Ben, who had been working in construction, was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital where he remains in an induced coma.
He suffered a right-arm amputation, spinal injuries and a brain trauma.
