Coca-Cola is Ireland's No1 brand for 21st year in a row
IRELAND'S love of Coca-Cola is showing no signs of going flat as the fizzy drink has been the biggest selling brand for the 21st year in a row.
However, the latest study from retail magazine Checkout shows consumers are now seeking out healthier options - so long as they come with convenience.
It means ready made and prepackaged fruits and veg becoming more popular.
They still lag well behind the top sellers with the Top 10 including Lucozade, Dairy Milk, Tayto, Avonmore and Brennans bread.
Coca-Cola once again leads the Checkout Top 100 Brands for 2025, which is produced by Checkout magazine, in partnership with NIQ Ireland.
The soft drink maker isn't the only brand enjoying longevity, as last year's top 10 include the same brands as last year, with some movement among themselves.
However, there is plenty of excitement across the list as jumps, tumbles and changes offer a one-of-a-kind insight into Irish shopping trolleys.
Apart from Coke, five brands on the best sellers list held on to the same spot as last year. But Tayto moved down one to fourth position as Cadbury Dairy Milk dethroned the crisp brand to take third place.
