IT'S an unfortunate fact of life that we will become old and frail some day.

When it happens, we will inevitably be relying on either family, carers or nursing homes to take care of us.
Families who place elderly loved ones into nursing homes are placing a lot of trust in these institutions.
They expect that they will be cared for with respect and dignity.
