Grieving family's life transformed by show | Couple's child was stillborn 2 years ago

- SANDRA MALLON Showbiz Editor

THE Home Rescue team helps a young family reeling from the loss of a child, in this week's episode of the show that transforms homes and lives.

The Big Fix gang - including builder Peter Finn and designer Dee Coleman come to the aid of parents Laura and Mark O'Neill in Dublin.

The couple bought a three-bed house in Old Bawn, Tallaght, in 2019 after years of saving. They have a young daughter Hannah and a little son Dominic.

But their third child Ria was stillborn in 2023 and their once-happy home has remained unchanged since, overshadowed by grief.

Clutter is everywhere. Clothes, toys, bags, boxes, shoes, kids' stuff and furniture fill the house.

Their pain is reflected everywhere in precious photos and memorabilia of baby Ria.

The house, although full of potential, is too cramped to be enjoyed.
