BLUES FEARING CAR TROUBLE

Leinster v La Rochelle Saturday 5.30pm
LEINSTER'S alarm bells will be not so much ringing as clanging after it was revealed Matthew Carley is to referee their game with La Rochelle.
The Blues meet Ronan O’Gara's French aces - fresh from a 66-0 hammering of Toulon - this Saturday at Aviva Stadium in their latest Champions Cup outing.
But the EPCR appointment of Englishman Carley has raised eyebrows after his officiating during Ireland's defeat to South Africa on November 22 caused a stir.
His insistence on repeatedly penalising Andrew Porter (right) at the scrum had knock-on problems for Andy Farrell's side as Carley chose to yellow card No.10 Sam Prendergast because of the cumulative number of offences while the Leinster prop was also sin-binned later.
