Ade-mant Ireland can shine
Irish Daily Mirror
|October 30, 2025
IRELAND Under-17 star Ade Solanke hopes to ride the Lorient express to World Cup glory this winter.

The former Shamrock Rovers full-back has been busy learning his trade at Ligue 1 side Lorient since his move from the Tallaght Stadium academy in January.
Solanke is lining out for the Brittany side's reserves. They play in the fourth tier, so the 17-year-old is coming up regularly against older, experienced players.
He is one of 21 youngsters named by coach Colin O'Brien for Ireland's first appearance at a World Cup at this age level.
