40 years as city clicker

93-yr-old captured huge events in our capital

A UNIQUE exhibition by one of Ireland's oldest photographers captures 40 years of some of the huge events in the capital.

Legendary snapper Billy Mooney, 93, was the official photographer for Dublin Corporation from the 1960s all the way through to the 1990s.

He took pictures of such events as Luciano Pavarotti on stage at the Point Theatre in 1991 and Mother Teresa being given the Freedom of the City in 1993.
