RTE and the BBC in the North would both have to be axed in a united Ireland, a new report claims.

Reunification could spell the end for programmes like the Late Late as the new nation would need a public broadcaster, academics from Ulster University and Dublin City University argued.
They mapped out five possible futures but concludes the best way forward is to scrap the existing models. The authors stress it isn't just a simple takeover by RTË, either.
And just letting the Dublin-based broadcaster absorb BBC Northern Ireland won't work.
