"Khammam Bureau, July 05, Indian Chronicle. "District Collector Anudeep Durishetty stated that steps are being taken to ensure the provision of essential basic amenities for students studying in residential educational institutions.

The Collector visited several institutions in Khammam city, including the Telangana Social Welfare Residential School and Junior College at Danavaigudem, Dr BR Ambedkar Social Welfare Junior College (Girls), the Minority Residential School and College at Koyachilka Crossroad and the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Girls Gurukul School. On this occasion, the Collector said that the development works sanctioned at a cost of 1.5 crore for the Social Welfare Gurukulam should be initiated and completed promptly. He instructed that a perimeter wall be constructed, and water supply be ensured to the Gurukulam's water tank through Mission Bhagiratha, thereby resolving water issues.
