BUMPER YEAR
SHOPRITE CEO Pieter Engelbrecht, pictured, is laughing all the way to the bank, having reportedly received a staggering R87 million in total pay for the 2025 financial year.
This comes after the retail giant reported over R250 billion in sales for the 2025 financial year, an increase of R20.6bn from the previous year.
This figure was revealed in the retail giant’s latest remuneration report, showing Engelbrecht’s earnings, including salary, bonuses and long-term share awards.
