Wincolmlee gas works 'expected to last until late September'

ESSENTIAL gas works on Wincolmlee in Hull are expected to last until late September.
The road has been shut between the Air Street and Bankside Park junctions.
Northern Gas Networks (NGN), the gas distributor for the North of England, said it is carrying out the work to replace ageing metal pipework with new, more durable plastic pipes. The work, which began on July 22 and is expected to last until September 29, has been planned in collaboration with Hull City Council.
