SATURDAY'S second Ashes Test at Everton attracted a television audience of 853,000 on average, easily outperforming its rivals in the same timeslot.

Hill Dickinson Stadium, the home of Everton FC, hosted its first non-football event over the weekend, with a sellout crowd of 52,106 in attendance.
The game, broadcast live on BBC One, peaked at 1.061 million viewers, with Mark Chapman hosting and Sam Burgess, Kevin Brown, and Jodie Cunningham providing expert analysis.
