SUPER League's expansion to 14 teams will come with plenty of changes, including to the playoffs.

As part of the plans presented on Monday, Super League will expand its playoff format from six clubs to eight.
It has been proposed that the playoff series be expanded and additional, meaningful home games provided for more clubs. It's essentially the same format used in the NRL and adds an additional week to the series currently in place for the Super League.
Under the format, the teams in the top four play each other in the first week, and the teams five to eight clash. First plays fourth, and second plays third.
