Plans for 'micro wind turbines'

PLANS for the installation of 10 wind turbines between Kingswood and Beverley have been submitted to East Riding Council.

The council is to consider a planning application seeking permission for 'micro wind turbines' to be installed north of Wawne.
The plans would see the turbines, which would have a maximum height of 10.8 metres (35 feet), installed on land at Carr House Farm, off Drove Lane. The turbines would be in a field to the east of the lane and to the south of the farmhouse and farm buildings.
