One-time Tigers' target O'Brien joins Championship new-boys

HULL City target Lewis O'Brien has completed a move to the Tigers' Championship rivals Wrexham, after the second-tier newboys struck a deal with Nottingham Forest.

City had been in talks with Forest earlier this summer over finally bringing the former Huddersfield Town ace to the MKM Stadium, but had stepped away in favour of another target prior to their EFL transfer fee restriction ban.
That left the door open for ambitious Wrexham to bring the 26-year-old to the Racecourse Ground on a deal until the end of the 2027-28 campaign, for what the club says is an undisclosed fee.
