MARTIN REFLECTS ON KR TEAM-MATE MCILORUM'S ANKLE FRACTURE
Rhyse Martin has confessed that Hull KR teammate Michael McIlorum is one of the 'toughest' players he's ever encountered, after revealing the training incident that left the veteran hooker with a fractured ankle.
McIlorum, 37, now faces a race against time to return before the season's end - what could be a cruel finish to a long and decorated Super League career that began with Wigan Warriors in 2007.
Hull KR head coach Willie Peters remains cautiously optimistic that the veteran will recover in time to finish his career on his own terms.
