I fear for the Robins, says pundit Wilkin
Hull Daily Mail
|September 29, 2025
LEADING Sky Sports pundit Jon Wilkin has suggested that the emotional highs of Hull KR's season could take a toll ahead of their semifinal showdown this week, with St Helens now confirmed as their opponents following a dramatic win over Leeds Rhinos.
Paul Wellens' Saints stunned the rugby league world with a last-gasp winner at Headingley, edging Leeds 16-14 in a tense playoff eliminator thanks to a late and dramatic try from Shane Wright.
The result sets up a mouthwatering semifinal on Saturday at Sewell Group Craven Park, with the Robins having already secured their spot thanks to their League Leaders' Shield triumph.
Having also lifted the Challenge Cup at Wembley in June, Willie Peters' side are now eyeing a historic treble - just 80 minutes away from a return to Old Trafford.
