COUNCIL AIMS FOR MORE BIG EVENTS AFTER COLDPLAY SHOWS
THE success of Coldplay's two shows at Hull’s Sewell Group Craven Park “showcased the best of what Hull has to offer,’ Hull City Council's deputy leader has said.
The city welcomed the international superstars for two unforgettable nights as part of their Music of the Spheres world tour this week.
The home of Hull KR welcomed Chris Martin and co for two sold-out shows on August 18 and 19. As well as being an opportunity for Coldplay fans to see the band live, the shows provided an opportunity for the city of Hull to shine on the world’s stage.
