|September 06, 2025
THE bright lights and buzzing atmosphere of Hull Fair are once again on the horizon.
Visitors flock to the annual fair in their thousands and this year they can look forward to some brand new attractions.
The organisers of the world-famous fair, which has been running in the city since the 13th Century, have been giving some updates about what is new for 2025 fairgoers to experience. And they are going to new heights to excite.
A post on Hull Fair’s Facebook page said: “Excited to announce the tallest ride of its kind in the UK, standing at 80m tall and the tallest drop ride to ever attend Hull Fair - Matthews Skyfall.
“A drop tower ride with seats that rotate around the tower as the carriage is elevated over 260 feet in the air, before finally holding position at the top and free falling back down.
