ANNUAL CITY EVENT RETURNS NEXT WEEK

- By SOFIE JACKSON

Extra bus services for Hull Fair

EXTRA bus services have been announced for the upcoming Hull Fair.

The annual event in Walton Street Car Park near MKM Stadium will run from Friday, October 10, until Saturday, October 18, excluding Sunday.

To cope with increased demand, Stagecoach Shuttle Services 2 and 2F are returning. These will run from Hull Interchange directly to Hull Fair up to every seven minutes.

Customers can hop on a shuttle bus for no extra charge if they have already travelled to the city centre with a Stagecoach Dayrider, Megarider Group or Return Ticket.

There will also be special journeys, between 4.30pm and 6.30pm, on services 6, 8, 12A and 13 from Kingswood, Bransholme, Bilton Grange, Holderness Road, and East Hull directly to Hull Fair.

Direct services, plus Service 10A to Sutton Park and Bransholme, will also run from the Fair between 7.30pm and 11.05pm to take people home. On Fridays and Saturdays they will depart even later until 11.20pm.

The normal £5.50 Adult Day Return ticket will be available on these special services. Also if travelling into the Interchange on a regular bus service, the return ticket can be used to travel on the Shuttle Services 2 and 2F, free of charge, to the fair.
