NON-STOP SOUL HITS FROM CARL ASHINGTON

ONE of the UK's most established Soul and Motown artistes makes a welcome return to the area this Saturday night when Carl Ashington appears at Hessle Ex-Servicemen's club.

Nonstop soul hits are the order of the day from the vastly experienced entertainer Carl who was once part of clubland's award-winning top vocal duo Cool & Luke. They were the standout winners of TV's New Faces talent competition, before the pair eventually went their separate ways.

Carl Ashington went on to carve out a very successful solo career as a vocalist presenting Soul, Motown and Reggae hits.

With a wide fan base across clubland, Carl is well-followed through out the country and during a career lasting several decades he has supported many star names.

The impressive list includes The Drifters, Norman Collier, Paul Daniels, Frank Carson, Gerry & The Pacemakers, The Three Degrees and many, many more.

The Carl Ashington Soul Show presents excellent tributes the likes of The Four Tops, Nat King Cole, The Platters, Lionel Richie, Billy Ocean and The Stylistics.

You can catch Carl Ashington when he appears at Hessle Ex-Servicemen's club in Hull Road, Hessle, on Saturday night. For more information, you can call the club on 01482 643122.
