Durability is Hull's name of the game
Hull Daily Mail
|May 14, 2025
Durability is one of the greatest strengths of any rugby league player.
In such a physically demanding sport, the ability to keep turning up, pull on the shirt, and perform every week should not be underestimated.
In the midst of a long-term rebuild, that reality is even more so at Hull FC, who need their key and experienced players out on the field week in and week out. But have they managed to do that this year? And who is proving to be the most durable?
Two players - John Asiata and Lewis Martin - have played in all 13 games in league and cup so far this year. However, Aidan Sezer, Herman Ese'ese, and Tom Briscoe have also been available for every game, missing just the York Acorn tie due to John Cartwright fielding a predominately young team.
Liam Knight has also played in all nine games since arriving in the country mid-season, while Will Pryce has played all five.
