Caton-Brown aims to restore Red Devils

MASON Caton-Brown is confident he can help build a new Salford club within a limited timeframe if given the green light by the Rugby Football League later this month, as he bids to restore passion and belief in the city.

Salford Red Devils were last week ordered into liquidation by the High Court over outstanding debts, bringing an end to the club's 152-year history in its current form.
However, several consortiums have already expressed interest in relaunching a club in Salford, with former Super League winger Caton-Brown leading one of the bids.
Having represented Salford across three seasons from 2014 to 2016, the ex-winger is spearheading The Phoenix Bid, backed by a significant six-figure investment, a kit supplier, and a sponsorship agreement each already secured pending approval.
