Cartwright out for season, Knight has surgery

JOHN Cartwright has confirmed another season-ending injury for a Hull FC forward, with Jed Cartwright ruled out for the rest of the year.

Cartwright joins the likes of John Asiata, Will Pryce, Liam Knight, and Ligi Sao in suffering the same fate.
The forward left the field less than five minutes into last Friday's game at St Helens with a pectoral blow, with Cartwright confirming the injury will now require scans to determine the severity.
Providing a full injury update, the Hull head coach said: "He's got a torn pectoral tendon. He'll see a specialist and go from there.
