Burglar stole widow's only photo of dead son and father together

A BURGLAR forced his way into a pensioner's rural Anglesey home then stole cash and sentimental items.
One was the 82-year-old widow's only photo of her dead son with his father.
Peter Jason Lee, 50, sprayed bleach around the property and threatened to burn it down. Lee and his accomplice then left and buried their car before Lee fled to Ireland.
The pensioner described as 'remarkable and resilient' by a judge summoned up the courage to walk to a neighbour's home. There was no answer. Her own phone had been ripped off the wall but she later found another handset and rang the police.
Lee, of no fixed address, admitted burglary. A judge at Caernarfon Crown Court, jailed him last week for three years and six months.
Prosecutor Richard Edwards said the victim lived alone in a remote house down an unclassified road.
At about 7pm on October 23, 2023, she heard a 'loud bang' on the front door.
She went to her porch and saw the defendant in dark clothes, a baseball cap and hood.
He said: "Incognito - drugs squad"
She opened the porch window and said she did not believe him.
But then his accomplice Billie Jo Kane appeared from under the window and all three 'grappled' with the window frame.
