Bangor City Stadium to get UK-first 4G surface in project totalling £520k

WORK will soon commence on the UK's first 4G playing surface in North Wales through the Cymru Football Foundation’s Fit-For-Future Facilities Programme and in collaboration with CPD Dinas Bangor City 1876 and Nantporth C.I.C.

Bangor City Stadium shared the following joint statement from the Cymru Football Foundation, with word from Director Lee Dixon, and Cymru Football Foundation Director Aled Lewis:

"This exciting development will benefit not only Bangor City Stadium but also the wider community.

"The new 4G facilities will be utilised by our own Bangor City 1876, CPDM Bangor WFC and Penrhosgarnedd, as well as other local groups and teams, who will benefit from the brand new, state of the art facility.
