Truck rams car on Ring Road, I killed

A 22-year-old woman was killed and her cousin critically injured after the car they were travelling in with two others was allegedly struck from behind by a truck at the Chandgi Ram Akhara traffic signal on Ring Road in north Delhi around Sunday midnight, police said. The force of the collision was such that the car smashed into a loaded, stationary truck in front of it, police added.

The two others deceased's mother and another cousin who was driving the car - escaped with minor bruises, police said, adding that the drivers of both the trucks fled the accident spot and are on the run.
