K'taka sculptor's idol selected for Ram temple, says ex-CM; trust denies claim

Former Karnataka chief minister BS Yediyurappa on Monday said that an idol of Ram Lalla carved by a sculptor from the state has been shortlisted for consecration at the Ram Temple set for inauguration in Ayodhya on January 22.

Yediyurappa's claim, however, was rejected by the temple trust undertaking the construction.
